Gilgamesh 21-36

"Two people, companions, they can previal together against the terror" P.27

When I read this quote I thought it was very interesting and liked it a lot. Gilgamesh and Enkidu said this to each other when they were fighting and having hard times wih Huwawa. It basically says that when two people are together in somehing and help each other out, their fears go away. When they were sort of loosing their hope and were being defeated just by listening these words they would feel better. These are perfect words of encouragement and not for just them but for everyone. They won the battle and even in times when they were not fighting they said it to each other in different occasions. They said these to amke them know that they were not alone, they had someone who would always be there to help them and support them. In other words these quote means (in my interpretation) "I will always help you and be there for you to get over your fears and terrors".

I agree with your points. However, for alot of text very little was interpreted. In the future I would like to see many aspects of the reading explored.
