Enkidus faith is chosen by the Gods of Council, and it is definite: he must die. He starts to get very sick and each time he gets closer to the abism of death. Gilgamesh takes care of him like a good brother. Enkidu cursed everyone and blamed everybody for his sickness, but that wasnt doing him any good. It was useless because hatred is like a venomn that only poisons the one that feels it.
Before his death Enkidu said that he didnt want to be fotgotten. Gilgamesh did all possible to honor his bravery ans soul. He made him an altar and a sculpture. He also wore fur coats to honor Enkidu and his love and passion for nature. These things were dedicated to his bravery in combat and in life. He grieved his friend until the end.
